The area around Antigua in Guatemala is subject to periodic volcanic eruptions, which provide additional nitrogen to the already rich coffee growing soil. The area is further blessed by light, frequent rainfall, and sun. These beans have a sweet, smoky, acidic flavor.

The climate in the Blue Mountains of Jamaica is cool and misty with frequent rainfall and rich soil. There, the coffee is grown alongside bananas and avocados. Blue Mountain has an intense aroma, a smoothly balanced, sweet flavor, body, and acidity.
